The Owensboro Public Schools Summer Feeding program featured its farm to summer lessons Wednesday, June 14 at both Legion and Moreland parks. This is essentially a “show and tell” for farmers where they can connect with the local community at a Summer Feeding site. Farmers talked about how the food is grown, what season and the nutritional benefits of eating locally grown food.
