2017-2018 School Year Supply Lists
First Day of School for Students will be Wednesday, August 10. Children new to the district who have not registered will need to show a certified birth certificate, a social security card, a physical exam and an up-to-date immunization certificate on the required Kentucky forms. All students age 6 and under must have an eye exam and dental exam/screening reported on the required Kentucky forms no later than January of their first year in public school.

Foust—Kindergarten registers July 27 from 4 -‐ 6 p.m.;

Freshmen register on August 4 from 4:30 -‐ 6 p.m.
Freshman parent meeting at 5:30 p.m. in auditorium on August 4
Freshman Orientation on August 5 from 9 --- noon
Owensboro Innovation Academy (grades 9-10)
August 3 -‐ Open House/Registration from 5 -‐ 7 p.m. - at 1010 Allen St.
August 3 -‐ Open House/Registration from 5 -‐ 7 p.m. – at 2401 McConnell Ave.
Hager Preschool 1701 W. 7th St. (Located on the campus of Foust Elementary School.)
Hager Preschool will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week throughout the summer from 8 a.m. -‐ 3 p.m. for parents to register preschoolers. Developmental Screenings scheduled by appointment on July 21, 27, 28, 2016. Orientation Schedule will be as follows according to CHILD’S LAST NAME that will be enrolled at Hager: A-Hag: August 10, 1 or 6 p.m.; Hai-N: August 11, 1 or 6 p.m.; O-Z: August 15, 1 or 6 p.m. Phase-In Days will be held on August 24 & 25 as assigned by the classroom teacher during Orientation. Preschool students will begin a regular half-day schedule on Monday, August 29.
I'm joining millions of others to help save lives with the American Heart Association!
At my school, I'm learning how I can help make a difference by raising lifesaving donations to help kids with heart disease. I'm also learning about my own heart, and how to keep it healthy. And I'm getting active!
I'm excited about raising money for other kids - kids with hearts that don't exactly work right and to help fund new medicines and treatments to be discovered.
School Wide Rewards:
-The student who raises the most donations will get to be PE teacher for the Day!
-The top 5 students in the school who raise the most donations will get to cover Mr. Roberts the PE Teacher with silly string at a school-wide assembly.
-The class that has the most donations will get extra PE time!
-As a school if we raise $5,000 Mr. Roberts will wear a puppy costume to school for a whole day.
-All Donations are due back to school by March 11, 2016.

The race will begin in the back parking lot of Owensboro High School - 1800 Frederica Street. Registration will be at the back main entrance (outside) then the runners will be walked to the starting point on Ford Avenue.
Pre-registration available thru April 22nd, 2016. Packets may be picked up on the day of the race beginning at 8:00am. Shirts will not be available to order after April 22nd. Individuals are $25 each, Families (Parents & Children) are $40.00. You can register online @ https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?formid=113934
We encourage participants to walk or run as a family. Strollers welcome! No bikes, scooters or pets please! When registering your family, please take advantage of our $40 family rate. This price includes 2 t-shirts. You may purchase additional t-shirts for $10 each, add $2 for XL and above.
