Summer Food Service Exceeds '23 Numbers by More Than 7,000 Meals

This summer, the Owensboro Public Schools School Nutrition Department distributed 49,590 meals to the students in our community.

This number surpassed our 2023 numbers by more than 7,000 meals! This program is vital to preventing not only hunger, but learning loss throughout the summer with students all across our community, not just students at Owensboro Public Schools.

We appreciate all of our families for taking advantage of this service throughout the summer and we are grateful we are able to provide this service at no cost to our community!
